3. Inspection methods

(4), peeling and folding, these two defects are partially unbonded with matrix metal, and decarburization or poor carbon often exists around it to different degrees. The material is easy to collapse, pressure concave or abrasion, which is unfavorable for bearing life and accuracy.
(5) the riveting or welding quality of the holder is mainly to observe whether the rivet head is tilted, inclined, flabby, missing meat or "double eyelid", whether the welding position is correct, whether the welding spot is too large or too small, and whether the welding is not firm or excessive, causing the phenomenon of stuck rolling body.

4. Installation and disassembly

Do not directly hammer the SKF bearing end and non-stressed surface during installation. Press the block, sleeve or other mounting tools should be used to make SKF bearing uniformly stressed. If the mounting surface is lubricated, the installation will be smoother. If the interference fit is larger, should put the SKF bearing in the mineral oil in installation as soon as possible after heating to 80 ~ 90 ºC, strictly control the oil temperature does not exceed 100 ºC, in order to prevent the effect of tempering hardness decrease and recovery effect size. In case of difficulty in disassembly, it is recommended that you use the disassembly tool to pull outward and carefully pour hot oil on the inner ring. The heat will cause the inner ring of SKF bearing to expand, making it easy to fall off.
